Is your birch firewood Ready to Burn and suitable for Smoke Control Areas?

Yes. All our firewood meets the UK Ready to Burn standard, which means it's dried to below 20% moisture, burns cleaner with less smoke, tar and soot, and complies with UK rules on domestic wood fuel. In a Smoke Control Area, you can burn it in a DEFRA-exempt stove or other approved appliance – always check your appliance manual and local rules.

What crate sizes is kiln dried birch available in?

Kiln Dried Ash comes in three crate sizes. The Full Crate is our most popular choice for regular wood burner users, holding 2.0m³ of loose logs.

Max Crate deliveryThe Max Crate is very tall and heavy and arrives on an 18-tonne vehicle, so the unloading area must be flat, hard standing (no grass, gravel or kerbs) and accessible.

How should I store kiln dried birch logs?
